Kai Havertz stars as Chelsea beat Everton

Chelsea have cemented their grip on fourth position in the Premier League on the back of a vital 2-0 win over Everton.

Chelsea took lead in 31 minutes of the match. Thanks to an own goal by Ben Godfrey. Jorginho doubled the lead in 65th minute with a penalty goal.

Havertz has endured a disappointing first season following his £70 million move from Bayer Leverkusen last year.

“I am very pleased with Kai. It was the trust we gave him and he used that trust,” said Tuchel, who has not lost in 11 games in charge since replacing the sacked Frank Lampard in January.
