Bruno Fernandes (£11.5m) rewarded his army of backers for the Fantasy Premier League captaincy and punished those who sold him with a goal in Manchester United’s 2-0 derby victory at Manchester City.
The Portuguese, who claimed 10 points, was the second-most captained player in Gameweek 27, with more than 875,000 managers benefitting from his early penalty at the Etihad Stadium.
But he was also the third-most sold, with 331,000+ managers opting to transfer him out after blanking in back-to-back 0-0 draws in Double Gameweek 26.

For the first time, Ilkay Gundogan (£6.2m) was the most-captained player in Fantasy Premier League.
